I have been searching forever for a laundry detergent not test on animals. For starter's, I wasn't even sure if animal testing is done on detergents. But being human et al., it was obvious we humans would test anything under the sun on animals before using.
Found one yesterday by going accidentally into a wrong aisle!! Seventh Generation: Natural 2X Concentrated Laundry Liquid, at Target. It's couple of dollars more than a normal detergent but it's worth that every extra penny.
Seventh Generation and Tom's of Maine covers most of the household and consumer health products. But I am still sticking to the resolution of not buying any of these online and waiting to buy at a local store. Endorsing a product on this blog is little awkward; but good business model needs to be appreciated.
