I have heard Brooks's speech so many times that I knew every sentence Brooks spoke at TED but yet, it left me enthralled. I know, I have been a overzealous here ever since his book Social Animal came out; all I can say is this is important, very important. We are at cross roads of most profound transition as a civilization - how we synthesize and inherit this new enlightenment and shed this status quo filled with dissonance will change us for better. I am not too sanguine to believe that majority will listen but I hope enough people are listening to expedite the transition.
