Sclera Effect

Even though Max is now little older, he still retains his astonishingly adorable looks (outside my bias circle) and it's an obvious fact since most people go ga-ga over him sans any white lies. Part of this probably because of inherited gene, good diet reflected in his shiny coat and playfulness which is bought about by the environment. All this still doesn't answer completely his innate magnetism.
After reading this
book, I got the one crucial missing piece of the puzzle. Dogs usually don't have much of a Sclera (the white part of the eye) but now I see that Max has an unusually big Sclera for a dog. Even in humans, bigger the Sclera, the more attractive the person becomes (Indians are considered the second most beautiful people in the world because of this).
This huge Sclera makes his gaze powerful and magnetic and his one look can open up
Oxytocin flood gates and temporarily stalls any need to release Cortisal.
