The Cove

After reading raving reviews, watched "The Cove".  It's not the right movie to watch few days into a new year but there cannot be a better time watch it. It's heart breaking watching what humans are capable of. If not for this documentary, we hardly would have realized the terror behind that fun and loving dolphin shows. It's obviously raises a question who are humans? Is it part human of nature to slaughter anything for food and dollars or those who risk their lives to save these creatures are humans? The glib talk of both have to co-exists gimmick cannot go on forever, there will be a day where we have to choose precisely what is to be human.  Until then we need such brave souls to keep the fire alive and there goes my trip to sea world until every nuances of their operations has been disclosed and for Japanese, there are better things that great civilization has to teach us that masquerading massacre in the name of "tradition".
