Ayn Rand - A simple truth

Here's more of Ayn Rand bashing. Some interesting analysis -  to love Rand, one should have read her in their adolescence.

"I never made it through either of  Rand’s two big novels, The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged. To enjoy either, I suspect, you had to have encountered Rand in adolescence, when so many of life’s lasting enthusiasms are forged."

Thats very true but I also would like to add that her books perpetually feeds the confirmation bias irrespective of congruity. Her flashy characters anchor easily into adolescent minds, shaping their future. I wish there were more science writers who have this anchoring effect on adolescence sans the polarization. That's something we can all learn from Ayn Rand.
